If you are fearless, tireless, and a little insane, you may just have what it takes to conquer the Bison 50 all by yourself. We welcome anyone who is willing to brave the journey alone. However, we would like to take this opportunity to warn you that 50 miles is a long way. If you have never accomplished such a task before, please proceed with caution.

For safety reasons, we are limited in the number of Solo registrations that we can accept for the event. After confidently affirming your physical ability (trust me, the mirror test can be deceiving so please base this off of a recent race or workout), do not hesitate to register as it will likely fill up quickly.

There will be an 11 hour cut-off for solo runners. Upon completing the event, take some time to enjoy the after party and allow your body to return to a state of normalcy. If needed, we will find you a ride back to Topeka.

All participants will be treated well at every aid station. There will be hydration and nourishment selections available.

Drop Bags

If you wish to use a drop bag, please leave your bag at the packet pickup area near the starting line. You must leave your bag in this area by 6:30 AM. Bags will be dropped off at the following aid stations: 3, 5, 8. After all runners have passed the aid station, we will deliver the bags to the finish area and have them waiting for you at the finish. You must pick up your bag by 6 PM that evening. Please mark your bag clearly with your name and designated aid station. Additionally, make sure the bag is durable and no larger than 11×14.
